I don't know about you, but for me today was a BIG day. Not only did I start crawling today (army style), but Mommy and Daddy also just found that I have another tooth coming through. Yep, that's right, I have three chompers now. Where is that steak?!

6 months and a day

Hi All, Just a quick post to let you know that we've all made it 6 months and a day since little Porter's birth.

On the evening of Porter's 6 mo birthday, we gave him his first taste of 'solid' food. Actually it was pretty dilute rice cereal with some formula, but definitely more solid than anything he's had in the past. We're happy to say that he appeared to enjoy it thoroughly. We'll be continuing to add foods as we move along, one new food every 3 to 5 days to see how he takes to it, and whether there are any negative reactions.

Porter is helping Daddy stand at the Dr's office. The little guy was telling Daddy to stay brave since he wasn't the one getting all the shots! Also at the Dr's we took some official measurements. At 6mo1day Porter is now 19.3 lbs (82%), 28 and 3/4 inches tall (99%), and has a 17.25 inch round head (53%).
